(Hagen a.T.W.) Almost 1000 horses, 600 riders and 27 nations meet in Hagen a.T.W. at Future Champions! Such an event must be celebrated, because Wednesday evening is traditionally the march of the nations at Future Champions. Here, every nation will march with their flags, painted faces, team clothing and of course a lot of good humor! Then the national anthems are played; it's every international athlete’s dream to stand in a full stadium and hear and sing their own national anthem. Here in Hagen these dreams come true.

The future is in the lead at Hof Kasselmann Future Champions attracts talent from all over the world

It is one of the most important junior riding tournaments in the world and a viewing for the European Championships in dressage and jumping. At Future Champions at the Hof Kasselmann in Hagen a.T.W. from 11th to 16th June 2019 there will also be a station of the FEI JUMPING NATIONS CUP™ YOUTH. The tournament is also considered a test event for the new formats of the riding competitions at the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020. In other words, numerous officials from all over the world will get to know the drawing process for lots of starters, dressage and jumping procedures, time recording in the course and much more about a perfect riding tournament.

Horses & Dreams meets France finished with a super exciting round of jumping, the Prize of Deutsche Kreditbank AG, also the first leg of the BEMER Riders Tour. And it was by no means easy to jump a clear round today, only five combinations went clear, among them Ludger Beerbaum and Casello. However, the 13 best riders of the first round were allowed to compete in the winning round and so riders that had a fault in the earlier course also had a chance to win. And the final round was tough.

The first combinations for the Louisdor-Prize Final

Horses & Dreams meets France was the first leg for the Louisdor-Prize Final for eight- to ten-year-old dressage horses. The first combinations to progress to the final round in the Frankfurter Festhalle are Senta Kirchhoff (Menden) and l’Arbuste, a nine-year-old Oldenburger gelding with Danish breeding (Skovens Rafael x Zardin Firfod), and riding master Hubertus Schmidt (Borchen) with the nine-year-old Westphalian stallion Bonamour by Bonifatius out of a mare by Rousseau.
