Frederic Wandres qualifies Duke of Britain for the "Louisdor-Preis" 2017
The Louisdor-Preis at Horses & Dreams meets Austria was the first station of this international dressage series for horses between eight and ten years old this season. The best two riders are invited to start at the final in the Frankfurter Festhallenturnier, and that is the winner of the class Frederic Wandres (Hagen a.T.W.), rider at Hof Kasselmann, in the saddle of the ten year old Dimaggio sohn Duke of Britain (74,37). ).
Dr. Dietrich Plewa, Grand Prix Judge, and commentator of the class attested to Wandre’s clever presentation of the chestnut gelding, the rider himself was more than pleased: “I am totally satisfied and happy that I am even allowed to ride such a horse,” gushed the 30 year old following his win. “ It´s just fun, lots of colleagues know that: I get up in the morning, and think about how I can structure my training. And when it works like today it´s perfect!”
