Richtertagung auf dem Hof Kasselmann

12.04.2018

It was with a heavy heart that Emile Faurie, and Delatio’s owner Elena Kyaginisheva came to the decision this week that the pair will not enter the competition in the World Cup Final in Paris.

The Hanoverian stallion sustained a minor injury during training this week, and though he seems fit again, and has been cleared by veterinarians, rider, owner, and trainers chose to put Delatio’s wellbeing ahead of the need to compete, and have decided to give him a brief break.

Of course this comes as a disappointment to all those involved, particularly as the pair has had such an excellent season together, collecting placing after placing in World Cup competitions throughout the winter such as their 80.4% and second place at the Olympia Horse Show in London, and 78.915% scoring at Jumping Amsterdam. However the long term performance of the horse is what counts the most, and this decision has been made with future performance in mind.
